That was my first thought, though if they are, the wood grain implies cabs made from the same utility plywood used at that time, which is decidedly different from what I've ever been around, so am guessing these have been stripped as they have that 'look' in some areas. You can see the same grain pattern through the paint of this original, much larger, A5 that predates it by a few years:

As for the components, there was an early 820 with just as pristine units on ebay some years ago, so while rare, they do exist, such as my mid '50s re-coned 515Bs.

Some of the components are later versions, esp for the 803B, as its the sticker label not the see through larger label. Though the made in USA stamp on the 511Bs is early.
But yes pristine examples exist, and command good money.
I'd grab the components if they were up, they're nice. Not fussed on the wood. Might have to paint it black.....

There's little doubt in my mind that the cabinets are legit, somebody spent a hell of a lot of time and effort to strip them. You can still see a few deep dings and gouges that have some paint left in them.

There's something fishy about ALL of this seller's offerings. Things are "too clean", and i seldom look at his stuff other than to try to spot the sham.

IMO, all of the components are a decade newer than the cabinets. The woofers are date coded 1964, and i'd agree that the other internals are from the same vintage.

AFAIK, all 803B woofers had the small foilcal. IMO, correct vintage components for those cabinets would have all had water transfer decals and gray finish

Nice-looking is right. The seller (carefully) makes no claim of original components, but everything sure is clean. Are you guys thinking that the cabinets are early 1950s?
Interesting that it is cheaper to ship to Shanghai than east coast US.
